Rattling Items for Deer Hunting

Now we are going to talk about the items needed for rattling. By far the most important is the actual antlers that you use to rattle. You can actually buy fake antlers at various sports and outdoors stores. For the best success it has been proven that actual real antlers are the best method to use. It's important to keep in mind that you are trying to make as much noise as possible while rattling. The heavier and the thicker the antlers the more sound that you can potentially create as you create the rattling sequence. Another important thing is that some deer, bucks, will end up charging into the territory to defend it, but most bucks are all little more discreet and sneak into the territory trying to smell and recognize which deer it is or if there is other danger involved. One important thing to rattling unlike maybe sitting in a deer stand is a scent neutralizer that neutralizes scent as the deer approach. Another important thing that you can do is create the smell of a doe in heat or two fighting bucks in the area which can greatly increase your chances of both masking your own smell and fooling a buck into thinking it is safe to come in so that you an get a shot.
