Deer Hunting Safety Tips

One of the things as mentioned before that you need to go hunting is the Hunter's Education course which is each state has different laws which surround the hunter's education program. For the most part they are similar. In Texas, if you were born after September 2, 1971, and over the age of 12 you must have passed this course to legally hunt within the state. Typically, a two day course, there are variations that the state gives you. Different options, you can do a one day internet training then a one day field course or even a one day whole packet that they will mail you and a one day field course. The local game warden in your area and a few other for-profit organizations give this course and basically it is an overview of the various hunting laws to familiarize yourself with the states particular hunting laws and then other basic safety to go along with the hunter, with law hunting whether it be various rifles and how to use them and protect yourself from potentially any liability law hunting with other individuals as well. So it is a must, it is required by almost every state in the United States and typically will take 16 hours or so.
