So now I'm going to talk about how you can use Google calendar on your cell phone. And there's actually two things you can do. You can get SMS text message reminders or if you have a qualifying phone you can actually just access Google calendar on your phone. Let me show you how that works. So if you'll remember when we were setting up notifications for this calendar. When we were asked to choose how you'd like to be notified, there's an option for SMS, which is a text message, over here. It's not set up right now so we can't click it. But you can click right here to set up your mobile phone to receive notifications. And the other way you would get to this go up to your settings and under calendar settings click mobile setup. So if you'd like to be notified on your cell phone you would have to go here and you've got your options right here. Enter your country. You would then need to enter your phone number. Select your carrier. And it looks like they have a lot of carriers so likely it's going to be on here. And then you would have to send the verification code. And what happens is Google is going to send you a text message with a verification code and you're just going to sit here and wait for it and then enter it to finish set up. And then you would be able to receive the text messages. The other way you can access this Google calendar on your cell phone is if you have a qualifying cell phone you can just access it by pointing your cell phone's web browser to google.com/calendar. And just from the help section a number of the things you can do with it on your cell phone. It says the interface is automatically optimized for the phone you're using. You can view your daily agenda and event details. You can add events and invite others. It's free. It doesn't cost anything. And then down here you've got some of the minimum requirements. It says your phone's web browser must be XHTML compliant. And they have some instructions on how to figure out if that's true. Your phone's web browser must have cookies enabled. And they say the settings for cookies is usually located in your phone's browser settings. And then it says your mobile phone network must allow cookies and secure SSL traffic. And then they've got just some basics on how to use it on your cell phone. Of course I can't show it to you right now but if you look over here on Google's blog they have a little setup of what it might look like. So that's a pretty useful thing if you're into using your cell phone for email and that kind of stuff. It'd be really nice to get your Google calendar on there as well. And they actually just pretty recently launched Google Calendar for your iPhone. And there's a search on your help for how you do this. But this is what it looks like. And if you have an iPhone and you use Google calendar this is just another cool thing you can do with your iPhone. So that's how you set up Google calendar on your mobile device.
