Hi, this is Luis for expertvillage.com and we're going to be talking about pawn shops. Today I'm here at Inland Jewelry and Loan. Basically pawn shops are not all that bad thing that the news and the police try to tell you it is. You know, we don't take in, I mean we take in any kind of merchandise but we don't get all the stolen stuff that's off the street. Everyone's jewelry doesn't end up here and we just try to resell it or scam people or anything like that. We're just a regular business like anyone else and we just try to make money like anyone else. People bring in all kinds of things. A top piece of item that we like receive is jewelry. We really like jewelry a lot in here and especially in our show room. You know, people walk in through the door and they see jewelry and they say okay this place is a little more civilized than one of the pawn shops down in the corner, you know what I mean? So, that's why we like jewelry but we also like to take other things like high end electronics, vintage guitars, and things like that. Things that are really resellable and we work with eBay also, so anything that we think is really resellable we try to buy it and make a good profit on it.
