Cooking Potatoes for A Spanish Omelet
On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today we are going to show you how to make Spanish omelet. If the potatoes are ready you are going to know because they are going to feel like where you can put your fork in it. It would not be super soft but you can penetrate the potato with the fork. So you don't want to over cook it. So you are going to turn it off. Then you are going to start draining it so that way you can leave it on the side ready so you can start cooking it in there. Drain out your potatoes and leave on the side taking out the water. Make sure that the water is out of it. You can use any kind of potato. It does not have to be Idaho, Russet, it can be any type of potato. So I took my pan and I"m going to use another main ingredient in your Spanish omelet which is the olive oil. You are going to place a generous amount of olive oil in the pan so that way it cooks and saute your ingredients.
