House Sales Tips on the Kitchen
Hi! I'm Kelley Johnson with K. Nicole Redesign for Expert Village. A kitchen can make or break a home when you are trying to sell it so it is very important that we spend a lot of time and attention on staging your kitchen appropriately. One thing that we always want to make sure is the counter tops is clear of any clutter. A lot of times we have toasters, we have coffee makers, we have small appliances that we use on a day to day basis. When you are selling your home and have it on a market, you want your counter tops to be clear of small appliances as much as possible. Cannisters, all of those things need to go either at the top of your cabinet or they can go lower at the bottom. Another thing that is important is to take time to reorganize any cabinets or drawers you have in the kitchen. If they are cluttered, we all have a junk drawer in our kitchen. But if it is cluttered, you are going to give buyers the impression that you know that this house is not quite big enough for my needs and we don't want to give them that impression. So organizing your cabinets in your kitchen to make them very clean and well organized and neat, you give buyers the impression that this house has plenty of space, plenty of storage for all of my things.
