Identifying Parts of a Buffer

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be talking about parts identification. First we have our motor housing which is located right at the top of the tool. This is also the area where you are going to set your hand when using the buffer. Attached to the motor housing we have our cord coming out. This is what is going to supply the power to your tool. Again you want to make sure and keep this cord in a very good condition. It is the life line of your tool. On the side of our motor housing, we have some air vents and this is going to cool your motor as you use the buffer. You want to make sure and keep this free from debris. Next to it we have our on/off switch. Below that we have the body of our buffer and if we turn it over, we have our foam pad which is located at the very base of our buffer. This is where we are going to put our buffer pads and application bonnets on.
