Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be talking about some specific safety rules. When using the buffer, you want to make sure and keep your hands out of the work area. This is going to eliminate any potential dangers to your hands. Also before using the buffer, you want to inspect your work area of any potential sharp objects or anything that can snag the buffer or damage the buffer. It's always highly recommended to wear a good proof pair of safety glasses. This is going to protect you just in case maybe the buffer kicks off a piece of dirt and goes into your eyes. Lastly before you get started, you want to make sure and check your buffer over and make sure there is no cracked or damaged pieces. Make sure that the on/off switch is functional and working properly. If anything does look out of the ordinary, make sure you take your tool in and have it looked at.
