Personal Safety Tips When Using a Buffer

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about personal safety. First off you want to stay alert, watch what you're doing and always use common sense when operating a buffer. Now since the base of the buffer does rotate, you want to make sure that if you have long hair you tie it back, you want to make sure that you don't have any dangle jewelry that can get caught down in it. Also baggie clothing, you want to make sure that you are not wearing that and that you have tighter fitting clothing. Lastly to prevent any accidental starting, you want to make sure that your tool is in the off position before you plug it in.
