Subluxation in Chiropractic Care

Hi! My name is Dr. Sean Flaherty from Summer Chiropractic in Puyallup, Washington and as a chiropractor what we generally look for, the first thing we look for is the subluxation. Subluxation is basically just a fancy word for a bone out of place or vertebrae more specific. And the true, I guess full definition would be a vertebra that has lost its proper juxtaposition with the vertebra above, below or both and it is interfering with the transmission of mental impulses. The mental impulses that the brain senses down through the body, out down the spinal cord, and out the nerve to whatever part the body that it is going to and telling how to work, how to regulate, you know what is the sensation is, how much strength to use, how… the heart to beat, etc. What we do is we remove the subluxation and by doing that we will allow that message to come out 100% and the body to function at 100% with no interference.
