Hi! I’m Ross. Thanks for visiting expertvillage.com. What can we do with computer files? Let’s find out. In this clip, I’ll show you how to delete a file. From Windows Explorer, I have my resume. I just don’t need that anymore, so I’m going to go ahead and right click on the file. One of the options is delete. I’ll left click and you’ll see that it wants to send it to the recycle bin. That’s a good idea, let it go to the recycle bin, because I could go ahead and recover it from there. Or if somehow I just knew and didn’t even want it to go to the recycle bin, I could right click and before I press delete hold down the shift key, while holding down the shift key press the left button. It’ll say are you sure you want to delete this. It won’t say do you want to move it to the recycle bin. It will be permanently gone if you click yes. No, I’m not going to do that. The other thing you could do is you could go and drag it with a left mouse button right to the recycle bin itself, let go, and that’s where it is.
Good clip, I especially liked the: right click>hold-shift key down>left click>click yes. That saves time by not putting it in the recycle bin, where it would have to be deleted. This entire series is a great tool. Thank you.
