How to Dust a Lighting Fixture

This is Dan Wolstenholme on behalf of Expert Village and today we're going to show you how to dust and vacuum your home. In this scene we're going to demonstrate the method of dusting from the top down. It's always important to start at the top, work your way down. That way the dust doesn't have a chance to settle back up from where you dusted previously if you dust lower. If you dust lower it's going to collect again on from the higher dust falling down and onto the lower part. So always make sure that you dust from the top down. So we're going to demostrate this. Notice how I'm cleaning from the top of the fixture, down to the body of the fixture, down to the blades of the fixture, then down onto the glass pieces of the fixture and then inside the glass is the last part that I'll do. Always remember that before you start onto your light fixture, shake out your duster first and then again when you're done shake it out again so it's ready for the next project.
