How to Use Vacuum Patterns

This is Dan Wolstenholme on behalf of Expert Village and today we're going to show you how to dust and vacuum your home. In this segment we're going to go over how to do vacuuming patterns so that you get the most benefit out of vacuuming. How to do it effectively and also to prevent carpet matting. So we're going to go ahead and demonstrate that now. As you can see in the vacuuming patterns, I overlapped when I made my forward and backwards strokes. Also I changed directions after about 3 feet. This will help to keep your carpet mat, straight, no stripe, make your carpet overall more better and cleaner.
