Hi! I’m Ross. Thanks for visiting expertvillage.com. What can we do with computer files? Let’s find out. In this clip, I’ll show you how to move a file. Locate the file you want to move. In here, I have Windows Explorer, Story ideas. I will left click and I now it’s selected. Moving the file, means remove it from this location and place it some place else. There is a number of ways I could do that. I could push control X on the keyboard. I could go up, since it’s highlighted, to edit and cut. Again, I’m going to remove it from this location. I could right click on the file and go down to cut. When it’s selected, you can see the icon dims here. I’ll go into creativity. I’ll right click and paste. The file is now here. Now, let’s go back. The file is no longer at this level. It did get moved into here. Another way that you could move a file is to simply right click and drag it. When you let up, there is a move option; click it, then it’ll move the file into that area. If I go back into creativity, there it is.
