Whipping Flour & Sugar for Blueberry Muffins
Hi! My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to take a few minutes to show you how to make blueberry muffins that taste better than the ones out of the box you get at the grocery store. We're going to start with our mixer. We're going to start with our sugar. We're just going to dump our sugar into our mixer. There we go. That's all of our sugar. We're also going to dump our flour in there as well. You want to be careful when you dump your flour in here. You don't just plop it on here. If you do, you'll get a big flour cloud in your face and it won't be a whole lot of fun. There's that. What we're going to do is we're going to make sure this mixes up nice and evenly. We're going to bring our mixer up here and we're going to turn it on to setting number one. We're going to let this go for 30-40 seconds or so. You want to make sure you get everything nice and mixed together before you add the next 2 ingredients, which are going to be the baking powder as well as the salt. Let's give this a second and let it mix up really well so we don't get any flour clumps, and I'll be right back.
