Hi. This is Yolanda Vanveen on behalf of Expert Village. In this series we are learning all about house plants; how to grow them, how to select them and where to place them in our home. The one thing we haven't talked about is how healthy having house plants in your house really is. House plants absorb carbon monoxide and all the other chemicals in your home and in return, they create wonderful oxygen. So, having a few house plants in your house will actually make you more healthy. The oxygen that they create is healthy for your body. Not only that, gardening is good for your health too. Caring for something, they've found, is really important to your mental stability and to your health. Just by caring for a plant, you are giving something else life and in return, it gives you a good feeling and that makes you healthy. So, watch our next segment as we conclude our series on house plants.
