Utilize Lighting & Lights to Benefit House Plants

Hi. This is Yolanda Vanveen on behalf of Expert Village. In this series we are learning all about house plants, and in this segment, we are going to learn about using artificial lights with your house plants. In the outside garden, we have artificial lighting that highlights our trees and our water features and it puts them on a stage; beautiful. You can do the same thing in your home with your house plants. So, if you have a few house plants in the corner and it seems pretty boring and there's not a lot of light, you can always use a lamp or you can use little small spotlights around the base of your planters that shine up into your plants. In that way, they are on stage and you can really enjoy them in your house and you can see them. In the next segment, we will talk about how to prevent messes in your house plants.
