Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we would be trouble shooting our sander. The first problem that I'm having is that my sander won't turn on or off when I hit the switch. My first indication is that my warning light is not turned on which means there is no electricity flowing to my tool. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take a look at the cord and see if it might be unplugged somewhere. If I take a look at my plug, I notice it might have got kicked out a little bit. Now I have that light and if I test it, it is working properly. Now if you plug it in and that warning light is still not illuminated and the buttons are still not working, it could mean that cord is bad. My next problem is that I'm sanding and it is just kicking up a lot of dust. First, I'm going to flip over my sander and as you can see, it looks like all of those vent holes are clogged. So I'm going to take some compressed air or I'm going to tap it on the side of the table and knock those clean. It might also be wise to empty the dust bag while you are at it.
