PETTIDEE: What's up? This is Pettidee with Soldier Sound Records on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to give you tips on live performance. Next, we'll talk about one of the key things not to do when performing; do not turn your back on the audience. If you watch--if you go to a play, you'll notice that they never turn their back to the audience and if they do, it's for a split second. When you watch--even when you watch comedy shows or you watch a sitcom, if you noticed the kitchen table and the TV, everything is perfectly facing the audience. The closest you should get to turning your back to the audience is your side. The reason why you shouldn't turn your back to the audience because after a while, when you're constantly doing that, it gives you--it gives the audience an indirect feeling that you're disinterested in doing the concert, you're disinterested in them, and pretty soon they'll be disinterested in you. So, make sure that you keep your face and your--do not turn your back to the audience; keep your face, your shoulders towards the audience, and when you turn--if you have to turn your back, turn your back quickly and get back because you are presenting the show. So, don't turn your back to the audience.
