On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Debbie Reeves at John's Design Center and I'm here to tell you about custom picture framing. Okay, the third way to cut glass is to cut it right on your table without any frame or picture. So what I do is...My frame that I'm going to put it in is sixteen by twenty. So first, I draw my line. I use the glass itself as my guide. I use my pencil and I run it right down the glass. Now I move this down, and now I have a line on my table. I put my tape measure on that line and I just move this right to the sixteen and right to the sixteen there. So, the line that I just drew is now my guide. So, I do exactly what I did before. I use that line. And if you see, my whole body is moving backwards; my arm is held straight. And again, I'm going to move this off, use my two fingers and break. Now, I want to cut the other side. I think I'm going to cut it sixteen by sixteen. So again, I just line up that little line, use that line that I had drawn as my guide, and cut it right off. You treat this piece of glass like it's a piece of cardboard and it will not bite you; it will not hurt.
