Learn About the Different Types of Frames for Canvas PaintingsOn behalf of Expert Village, I am Debbie Reeves at John's Design Center and I am here to tell you about custom picture framing. You can also use a ready-made frame. This is a standard twenty by twenty four. So let's look at this beautiful frame. This is hand distressed. So, you could use this one, or look what happens when you change the color and you use this one. Now, this particular frame is valued (if I was doing the custom molding)...it would be five hundred dollars. But because we've done another frame in this, this frame is only two hundred and fifty dollars. So, you can see that if you chose a custom molding, like this one, you might pay five hundred dollars for it. Or, you could get a ready made and pay half of that-- two hundred and fifty dollars.
