How to Fill Holes in Walls

Hi, I'm Dan and today I'm doing a demonstration for expertvillage.com. First, steps getting your house ready to paint your wall is you are going to look for any imperfection that you might find in your wall. We are going to use a white Spackle. The reason I like using this is because for one, I can sand it if I need to. If I am in a situation where I don't want to kick up any dust I can use a damp rag to clean it off. So what you are going to do is you are just going to look over your wall, you are going to see if you see any nail holes that need to be filled. When you see a nail hole, you just want to take this a little bit of Spackle. You want to go ahead and fill that. I would do a criss cross pattern just so I make sure that I fill in the entire surface. Once that is filled in, I would leave that alone, I would look for any other imperfections in the wall. In this case, there is not any it is a pretty nice wall.
