Knife Thrust Variation in Filipino Martial Arts

JOHN BROWN JR.: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is John Brown, and we're going to show some finishes when he defends with the single-hand grab. So when I thrust to his rib line, first, I'm just going to thrust just to see where I'm going to be going for, right in between the rib cage again. Another variation, a guy's arms sometimes are in the way just casually pull this up. A lot of times, they won't show you where the blade is. He doesn't even know I have a blade. I come up really nonchalantly to get this shot. It's more of a knifing style so it's not a good thing. Now, he defends with the one-hand grab. I'm going to pop this to get this, and then I could follow up however. So again, he counters. I can do that friendly pull inside to get this rib shot. I can also do it over the top getting that thrust. Again. And that's how we finish.
