Hi! I'm Robin with trees-mom.com. We're making a video for Expert Village today. We're doing a crocheted wire Christmas bracelet. On our Christmas bracelet we want out jingle bells and our light bulbs to dangle. In order to do this, we need to use a split ring. I use a split ring instead of the rings that just open because they're more secure and your charms aren't going to fall off. These split rings are just like a keychain. They have wire that is wrapped around. It has an opening. I usually just stick my fingernail in there. Kind of tilt it to the side. I use my little jingle bells and put it on this split ring. Then they just twist right on. We do the same thing with the light bulbs. Then when you put them on the bracelet, they have a dangle to them and it makes it fun to have those fun things dangling around. We just stick our fingernail in the split ring. You can use a knife. You can use whatever you want to put in the split ring to open it up. This one is the light bulb. We put it on there and just twist it around.
