Hi, this Grace Fitzpatrick, here for Expert Village, and I'm going to continue to talk to you about replacing problem letters in the ventriloquism. We're back with the letter P. And notice when you normally say "P" you put your lips together. But this time, you're going to actually try saying P, but using letter T instead to replace it. So it's sort of a soft, putting your tongue on the back of your teeth, T, T, T, T. And, if you slowly roll the T sound with your tongue, it sounds like P. Tolly want a cracker? Polly want a cracker? Then we're going to do the letter V. Now, instead of going V, you're going to say Th, like sort of a TH, but like you're saying the word there, not a soft TH like you're saying the word thump. So we're going to do the letter V but saying thee. So, thee, thee, very nice, very nice, very nice. Now, we're going to do the letter W. This is actually sort of a tricky letter not only when you're saying double U and moving your lips a lot, but also when you're starting words like where and what. And you notice that sort of when you go what a lot of times, you'll bring your lips and sort of purse them together, but we're going to practice how to say that differently in a little bit. You hardly ever actually say the letter W, double U. In fact, I can't think of think of when you actually do. W is actually just the beginning of words, so when you're saying the alphabet it can be hard. But in real life, when you're actually doing ventriloquism you won't have to say W so I'll teach you the trick about W's later.
