Hi! I’m Martha McCue with expertvillage.com. I’m going to show you how to change threads. We started out with this nice two red and white. We are going to change them and the way to do that is. You are going to cut your thread 3-4 inches and you take the next two threads, line them up. You know sometimes I wish I had three hands, I really do, because basically what your doing is your going...I am sorry, but I have got to get it down here where I can handle it. Okay now we are going to go on chains and then I will show you what to do with those hands in just a sec. Like I said we're doing a double so we are going to do three chains here. And you turn, here we go. You have now got four colors of thread in your project. We are going to pull that out. I will show you what to do with these threads. Number one, you are going to pull them through and hide them in your stitches. Just like here on the beginning row and you are going to hide these stitches and then after you have hidden them behind a couple of stitches you are going to trim off the excess so what does it show? Makes it nice and tidy. And pull it out so you make sure it’s in there good.
