How to Drain Ramen Noodles

In the time it gets you to prepare those ingredients, your ramons should have time to be cooking. So you'll turn off the stove and now we're going to drain the noodles. Some people like to use a strainer or a colander when they drain the noodles. But today we're just going to use our trusty fork. Come on over to the sink and I'll show you how we're going to do that, it's pretty simple. You just hold your pot over the sink and use the fork to keep the noodles in the pot as you pour the water into the sink. If you're following the recipe instructions on the packet of the ramon noodles, it's going to have you leave the water in there and make a soup. But we're making our cheese sauce so we're getting rid of the water so we just have our savory noodles. It's okay if all the water doesn't come out cause you are not tilting it all the way cause you can pick your noodles and put them either on your plate or on your bowl. Like I said, we use a few containers as possible to minimize clean up but I still have my cheese on this plate that I cubed. We're just going to let them share for a moment, now our pot is empty and we can use it now to make our sauce.
