The first step in making maca-ramon and cheese is to prepare the ramon noodles. Now once again you have two choices for ramons in this day in age. The first being your classic ramon noodles and then you also have the choice ramon which are 80% lower in fat and 25% lower in sodium. So I think today we're going to go with the choice ramons and I'll tell you the thing I like most about the choice ramons is that they are circular. As the old ramons are square it makes them fit better in smaller pots, so I already put two cups of water onto boil over here in my small pot. You just drop the ramon noodles in there and you're following the directions on the package, you're just going to cook them for 3 minutes in two cups of water which I previously measured in my measuring cup. Once you have put the noodles on to boil, you are going to take the seasoning packet and throw it in the trash. Because we'll be making our own cheese sauce today, we don't need anything in that seasoning packet.
