Throwing Drill for Competitive Judo

On behalf of Expert Village, I am Angel Perez with Champion Martial Arts in Miami, Florida and today, we are talking about competitive judo. In competitive judo, again when you are training to compete, the first step is what we just showed, kasushi's or multiple repetition of a technique. Standing still, then, you move into the walking aspect of it and then you move into the throwing aspect of it. So, we're going to do a little demonstration here as to how it is that we train to learn how to throw. We now know how to do a technique standing and moving to the back, o.k. My assistant John, go ahead, you run to him and do your morotos, then you come to me and do your technique. Go over there, come. O.k. as you see, we now move and throw. It's good for your speed, agility, balance and it gives you plenty of stamina.
