Continuing Technique in Competitive Judo

On behalf of Expert Village, I am Angel Perez with Champion Martial Arts in Miami, Florida, and today we are talking about competitive Judo. Now you have seen what the technique looks like, in order to protect that technique you must practice it thousands and thousands of times. So what we do is, we start off with what is called uchikomi. Uchikomi is continual technique, over and over and over again. So to perfect that technique how will do it is to practice it easy, in and out , in and out, in and out, as many times as I can. And then we will switch, and then he would try it. Morote. This is basically for your speed in competitive Judo, so when competitions come around you are perfectly ready.
