Hi, I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to demonstrate some slide guitar. Now given at this guitar its tuning open G it's much easier to play songs that are in the key of G. That way you can play the open chord as well as the closed chord so when you play an open you have a G chord if you go up to the twelve fret you also have a G chord. It always sounds good when you're playing slide. When ever you have the chance to give it a little kind of a tremble sound by wiggling your finger up and down a little bit. Now the key of G the basic chords in the three chord blues progression would be G C and D. So as we already see, you can play the G chord either open or at the twelve fret the C chord is at the fifth fret with the slide and the D chord would be up two frets from the C. So that would give you your D chord so that way you would have the three chords in the G progression. (playing guitar)
