Hi, I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village and this is Blues Progressions Part 3. Now we're going to incorporate what we've learned through doing the exercises and the hammer and pull techniques. And I'm going to demonstrate how to use the blues scale to make a, some blues riffs are actually some notes that are strung together in a bluesy kind of way. Now this is always a very good and popular bluesy kind of thing. So, it's a good riff to learn. I'm starting on the index finger on the E string, fifth fret, using the little finger on the E string on the eighth fret. Going back to the fifth fret and then going up an octave from that note to the A, which is played with the third finger on the seventh fret of the D string. And in the next section, we'll play a few more blues riffs in A.
