How to Play a 2 Note Arpeggio on Lead Guitar

Hi, I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village and this is Blues Progressions Part 3. Now this next exercise that we're going to use practicing the A blues scale is a little bit tricky. It's kind of a two note arpeggio. But actually what we're doing is we're skipping a note and then going back to the note we skipped. And then skipping the next note. In other words, instead of going each note, we're going to play this note, skip this one and just go to this one, then go back to this one and then skip the one we played and go to the next one. It sounds complicated, and it is a little tricky, but this is kind of the way it sounds. And then back down again. So let's try that again. Ready? Actually, it's easier sometimes when you've played these exercises and you're used to doing them fast, it's easier to do them fast than to do them slow. So, I'll just demonstrate this one at a little bit higher speed. Well, it's not that easy playing it fast either. Let's try that one more time. So, it's a little bit tricky, but it's a very good exercise for learning this scale.
