Cutting Onions for Open Fire Vegetable Kabobs

Hi, I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village. Today we are going to show you how to cook your veggie kabobs over a natural open pit fire. Now we are ready to continue cutting the pieces that we are going to be putting on to our kabobs. For the onions what I generally do is cut off the ends of them and then peel away the outer layer. Then what we are going to do is just some big chunks for our kabobs. Cause we want something is going to stay on the stick. What we are going to do is just cut some pieces like this. Big pieces that we can stick onto our, I'm going to cut this a little bit differently. So we can stick these big chunks onto our kabobs. Then we are going to cut some pieces of bell pepper. Just slice this that we can stick on the sticks. Cause that is what we are going to do is stick these big ole chunks on the sticks.
