The first thing you are going to do to prepare your other ingredients while your Ramon noodles are cooking is dice your tomato. I find that one small romano tomato is plenty for making one serving of chicken Caesar Ramon salad. Maybe you haven't diced a tomato before. I'm going to take you step by step really quick. Again, I have a serrated knife. You can see it has the blade looking edge on it and that is going to help me go through the tomato with a back and forth motion. Instead of a flat blade where you'll just be putting pressure on the tomato, which can just squash it and be frank. You want to make nice clean slices and the first thing I'm going to do is cut off the end of the tomato where the stem was connected and throw that away. Then I'm going to flip the tomato over so that it balances or sits right on the flat cut I just made. I'm going to start right at the very end of it and cut it in half again, so now we have these two halves which I'm going to lay down. Then I'm just going to use my plate, I can put the handle of the knife the tip of the blade on either end of the plate and tomato sits down on resist part of the plate. Then I can being careful not to get near my fingers, I can make another cut through the middle of the tomato. I'm going to do the same thing on my other half. Be very careful and you can hold your tomato steady by holding it on top. That way you are not cutting towards your hand so now I have these nice flat slices and I'm just going to start cutting them lengthwise like so. Then I'm going to come back and make a few cuts cross ways and that is what gives me a little pieces of tomato not quite cubes but they will distribute evenly throughout my salad. It will add so much flavor and nutrition to our chicken Caesar Ramon salad.
