Hi, this is Sean Hobson, for Expert Village. What we want to talk about now is what our offside receiver is going to do during the reverse. You can have this receiver do a couple of different things. If you want to have a basic blocking assignment you can hit the defensive backs with your wide receivers and have them pushed up out of the field and out of the play (video demo). We have a pulling guard coming around. Now if you're not going to pull your guard, you're going to use this guy as the blocker on this side. If you're going to pull your guard around you can use your guard as a lead blocker. When this defensive back comes up in the hole he's going to hit this guard that's pulling. What we want our wide receiver's to do is as soon as the ball is snapped and the ball is handed off to that running back, we want this guy, as hard as he can, to come in and hit the tight end. The tight end will not be expecting him. The tight end's job is to come up the field and contain this side of the field. So, he won't be seeing this guy come in and he's going to get hit from the side and knocked completely out of the play. Then our wide receiver can come through this hole that's been created by the wide receiver and the pulling guard.
