Installing Foot for Invisible Zipper

Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we're going to install our invisible zipper foot onto our machine. I just want to show you before we start, the invisible zipper foot has 2 deep grooves in the bottom of the foot here. That's where the teeth of the zipper will be guided perfectly along. There's a small hole in the zipper foot. That's where the needle comes through. It's very important to make sure that your needle position is set exactly to go through this hole. This is going to guide the needle to sew the zipper perfectly in place. Just remove your regular foot, and we'll place the invisible zipper foot in. You want to make sure that you can test by rolling down your flywheel to make sure that the needle is indeed going right through the center of the hole of the invisible foot.
