Adding Pecans to Italian Cream Cake

Hi, my name is Gail Hoffman and I’m in, I live in North Reddington Beach, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to demonstrate how to make Italian Crème Cake. Okay, so I am going to use some pecans to coat the sides of the cake, which gives it a really polished nice look and will also correct any flaws, which may have occurred. And then to give it a little more pizazz, I have a little bit of extra frosting and I am just going to pipe a little decorative border on the edge, a little air pocket for the finishing touch, because it is Italian Crème Cake I am going to put some maraschino cherries on top of the cake. Actually I think I will just put one on the top and then I am going to put it back into the refrigerator and then it will be ready to serve.
