Preparing Pans for Italian Cream Cake

Hi, my name is Gail Hoffman and I’m in, I live in North Reddington Beach, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to demonstrate how to make Italian Crème Cake. Okay to prepare the pans you need to grease and flour them. What I like to do for the bottom of the pan is to use some parchment paper that you can buy at the grocery store with the aluminum flour and plastic wrap and we are going to make a circle around the bottom of the pan and we are going to come around it and we are going to have a perfectly custom paper bottom for the cake which is going to help get it out nice and cleanly. But I am still going to flour the sides, flour and grease the sides with just a slight, a little bit of butter on them to keep the parchment in place and then just a little bit of flour and you want to just tap it and then you have a prepared pan.
