Hi! I am Jason Wyatt, head golf professional at Sunnydale Golf & Country Club and on behalf of Expert Village.com, I am here to show you how to properly warm-up today. A lot of people, when I see them out on the driving range, the first mistake they make is they go right to the driver to hit golf balls; that is probably worst possible thing you can do. What I am going to do is I brought my golf bag here today to show you exactly which club you should hit first and when you should hit them. So looking at the golf bag, when I am warming up what I would like to do is start off with my lob wedge. It is 58 degrees and it just allows me to get a nice, smooth swing going, gets the body warmed up, gets the core warmed up and does not allow for any problems with hurting your muscles or stretching or such. After that, I start and work my even irons, so I will go wedge, 8 iron, 6 iron and 4 iron. I will hit about 10 balls a piece with each club and then I move it to the best one of them all and that is the driver; you want to hit this 10 times and then you are ready to go to the golf course. So make sure when you are going onto the driving range you properly warm up and use my example here as the best way to warm up.
