Serving Cajun Shrimp

Hi, this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village, and today, I'm going to show you how to make Cajun shrimp. So while our shrimp is cooking, let's check our rice. And as you can see, our rice is definitely done. All the water is definitely absorbed, and it's not sticking together. I kind of like -- it's a little sticky, which I like, but not like clumps. So that's a good sign, and yeah, all the water is definitely dissolved in this. So our rice is definitely, definitely ready. So let's check on our shrimp. Oh, and that's coming along nicely. Another few minutes, and it'll be done. As you can see, look at the vegetables, the green peppers, they're soft and almost a little blackened, too, which is good. So that's -- yeah, it's cooked really good. A little more -- a little more time for the shrimp, maybe another 10 minutes, and this will definitely be ready to plate up. And here's our rice, and then we'll take our Cajun shrimp and we'll just rest it over our rice. And this is just a little taste of New Orleans right here in your own home. You don't have to go to New Orleans to have Cajun shrimp. You can have this in the comfort of your own home. It's very simple and very easy. So there you have it, our Cajun rice. Very simple, very easy to make, and you can make this in the comfort of your own home. On behalf of Expert Village, this is Matt Senatore, and I'll see you soon.
