Hi, this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village, and today, I'm going to show you how to make Cajun shrimp. Okay, so now, we're going to add our shrimp to our roux. Just kind of lay those out in there like so. Now, we don't have to put all the shrimp in at once, but we can get most of them in there, actually. But we're going to stir it around. Even though it looks like there's not enough roux, it's going to be fine because we're going to stir this around and make sure that it all cooks. And on a medium-low heat, we're going to just cook this. Just -- I don't know -- for approximately five, six minutes. So just keep stirring it around. It's always good to keep it moving. Keep it moving and make sure that all the roux and the shrimp get mixed together nicely. Okay, we can see the roux start to -- starting to simmer, bubble, and it's also getting thick. And you can see it actually caking around the shrimp, so that's a good sign. We're just going to keep it moving, just cook it for another few minutes. Okay, I think we're pretty much there. Okay, that looks good. It's nice and thick, and it's mixed very well, coating the shrimp if you can see that. Okay, wonderful. Let's work on our next step.
