How to Landscape a Model Train Village

My name is Kevin Blakeney on behalf of Expert Village, we are now going to show you the forth and final step to landscaping your new model train railroad village. We now have almost every level of detail in place but you can see there is still some rough rock areas that are showing. The final touch is this lichen brown, orange, red, just about any color you can think of. I prefer using the orange just for the splash of color that it creates in contrast with the trees. You are going to want to put this along every edge of the house that is still exposed. It creates just that next level. Now that you have the lichen in place you can finish up with a little bit more of the ground cover leaves from earlier on the hill side. This time spread it over the horizontal surfaces and then glue it in place with a little bit of the 1 to 1 ratio of white glue and water. With a eyedropper or the squirt bottle. Once you have all of these in place the final touch are any boulders or rocks that you want to put in. Sprinkle them throughout make them look natural. A little bit of out cropping over here and I think we are going to come back with a little bit more the orange sponge material. Sprinkle it throughout a little color and our landscaping looks good to go.
