Hi, I'm Carmen Lynne with Expert Village and we're looking at Lou's reoccurring railroad track dream and looking at ways of analyzing it. So, what I'd like to ask you now Lou is, when you're in the dream what age are you, in the dream. Oh, that's interesting, seems like I'm a little boy still, always a little boy, I'd say between the ages of eight to twelve, somewhere in there. Alright, great, so eight to twelve age. Okay, good, so now the reason I'm asking that, and in fact, even if Lou was not always a child in the dream if there were aspects of the dream that were reminiscent of that time in his life, (i.e., if always in the dream he happened to be in the house where he grew up we would then say okay, then that is reflecting that period of his life), yes, you understand? Okay, so the next question I want to ask you is, you say the dream is very vivid, would you say that it's more symbolic or more real? More real. I mean the clanging of the crossbars going down, you have the tracks clackety-clack, clackety-clack, clackety-clack of the train getting closer, the train horn, you know me trying to get out of the car that's locked that I'm, you know, banging or trying to get that door open. So it feels real. When I say symbolic or real, what I'm saying is, you know how sometime you have a dream where it's almost boring because you're just dreaming about, yeah, the stuff that you do every day. It's like, I go to work and then I go to sleep and I'm still at work in my dream life, you know, those kind of dreams, that would be what I would call "real". Then, if you have a dream where kind of wacky, weird things happen that would never happen in real life that is more where I'll call symbolic. So, in fact, even though it says you seem to feel that it's real to you, I would be inclined to say this is more of a symbolic dream because you have not actually had this experience in real life, right? No, never. Okay, you haven't. This is more; it's rather, an extreme kind of experience, such as doesn't happen very often in real life. Okay, so that's why I would tend to look at it more symbolically and that will influence how I analyze the dream.
