Hi! This is Brenda and we are working on our paper doll project. You know you don’t always have to use just plain paper for this project. You can use things like old wrapping paper or wallpaper that you are not using anymore. Today I have chosen some real iridescent wrapping paper that I haven’t been using in quite a while, so I am going to use that for a paper doll. Once again we are using her as our template and now we will just get a good piece over here to put our paper doll on and we just go around and I am going to make a dress. This is going to be an evening dress since it is kind of iridescent and I just cut out the shape of her body like this, connect it at the bottom, connect the sleeves and do a little scooped neck. Once again I do add little tabs at the top, two tabs on the side because when we cut this out that is what is going to anchor it down and here is one that I have already cut out so we are going to just place our paper doll behind it like that and we are just going to push on our little tabs and make this stick on. Now she of course needs to have some hair since she is going out for the evening, so we have her hair on there. If you want, to you can glue some little buttons or sequins or something shiny and she is ready to go.
