The Yellow "Millennium" Subway in Budapest

I'm Dante Mena the author of the Adventure Hungary travel guide and here on behalf of Expert Village and we will learn a little bit more about how to get around in the city using the public transportation system. We have just come up into the exchange area for the different metro systems and I have taken, taken you from Kossuth ter and we have come here to Deak ter. And now, as we come up, we will transfer over to the yellow line. If you will see there are many different entrances here for the different lines in Budapest and if you look up, you will see the transfer directions. For the yellow line, number one, the metro number three and also for an exit going up stairs to the streets above. Now we're going to go on to the yellow line, as we come through, of course don't forget to punch your tickets and always carry your tickets with you on this system. Because the monitors have the authority to stop you at any time and ask for your ticket and as we have come off you can see that now we go onto the yellow line. The end of the yellow line is what is called the Mexikoi ut and the beginning is Vorosmarty ter. Now we're going onto the Millennium tour, let's go.
