Adding Corn Starch & Garnish for Chinese Ma Po Tofu

Hello my name is Hui, on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show several everyday Chinese dishes. Now we would add 1 tablespoon of water and mix it with the cornstarch. Make sure don't leave any lumps in the cornstarch mixture. Remember when you add the cornstarch mixture you have to stir the food ingredients in the wok otherwise lumps would form in the sauce. That is not something that we want. We want the cornstarch to actually thicken the sauce without leaving any lumps. As you can see right now this sauce has been thickened. Then we would put our tofu into a serving dish. As you see the sauce is at the right consistency at this point. Then we would sprinkle the Szechuan pepper flakes over the top of the tofu. You will smell strong aroma, then we would also put the chopped green onions over the top. Now the Chinese ma po tufo is ready, it is spicy and it is full of nutrition, really good with rice.
