How to Arrange an Office Desk Ergonomically

Hi, I'm Pete D'Alessandro with Expert Village. Something with the mouse but the wire isn't as restrictive with the mouse. So we should be able to do this and be completely centered with our computer. It's the most important thing because it's where we spend the most time, the most repetitive system we have. This is going to dictate the rest of our set up of our desk, of our office. So making this as neat and clean as possible and just centered ergonomically viable is going to be so much better for everybody. This is how it should be centered, this is how we should be working at our computer. We've got our monitor straight on, we don't have to turn, we don't have to look up, down in anyway. It's perfectly natural, it's no stress on our spine, on our back or on our eyes. And the same thing with the keyboard; it can be anywhere where you're comfortable with it but it should be in the center. You shouldn't be able to reach over here like this and twist your back. It should be right here, this is going to be the correct pose. The mouse should follow with that, most people are righties of the mouse so it should be right here. We should be able to go from here without stressing our body in any way. This is going to be where we do the most repetitive work so this is where it's going to be most important to start from.
