Tips to Organizing a Home Office

Hi! My name is Pete D'Alessandro. I'm here with Expert Village. I'm a professional organizer. I got my start on TLC's Clean Sweep as the project manager on the TV show. I over saw hundreds and hundreds of spaces and people and help them restructure, streamline, reorganize, and I'm here to show you how your can do the same thing yourself. A lot of people get intimidated by trying to reorganize, but what I learned was is if you get in and start the project correctly and plan from the very beginning, demonstrate what you're going to do yourself and stick to a committed structured plan. It's actually not so hard. We're going to go ahead and get started. We have one client here. His name is Lou and we're going to restructure his office, his bedroom, his closet, and you're going to see all that. As you can see, his stuff has gotten kind of out of hand. It's not that there's so much, but he has a lot of media and there's just a lot to talk about. There's a lot to deal with here. He's got a lot of books. Yes, we all have books, we all have our media, we all have our reading material, but it's overflowed the space that he currently has.
