Serving for Robert Redford Pie

My name is Brandon Sarkis, on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to make The Next Best Thing To Robert Redford Pie. Now we'll take our pie server like this, and very carefully lift this piece out onto the plate. You can't really see it, because it kind of broke on me. Oh, well, it's not going to work. What I'll do is show you like this. I know it's kind of hard to see the layers here, but we're going to try to show them to you. So we'll just take a bite out here, and you can see inside you've got your crust, you've got your white layer, your chocolate layer, and your white layer on top. You can see you've got your crust, right here. It's one of those things that's kind of messy to eat, and it's one of those things that doesn't always look as pretty as it should the way it comes out. The longer you let it sit, the better it will look. Maybe after another couple of hours, it might have set up even more, but it's still going to taste the same. I always serve mine in the pan like this because it's more of cobbler kind of thing when you go after it. A lot of people will put it in a pie pan. If you put this in a regular pie pan, it can be a little easier to get a hold of. I've also made it before in a muffin tin before, and made little bitty, tiny ones, but that's a whole different story. That was for a large catering event. You can see that we've got our layers inside there. It got a little smooshed; you can see that the back of it broke up. All in all, it was a lot of fun to make. It's going to be a lot of fun to eat.
